Amazon acquires After We Fell and After Ever Happy

Staff Writer

After We Fell and After Ever Happy will officially be released on Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

Amazon Prime Video today announced that the hit young-adult romantic dramas After We Fell and After Ever Happy, starring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, will launch exclusively on Prime Video in the UK and France. After We Fell and After Ever Happy are the film adaptations of the best-selling novels from the After franchise that captivated readers across the globe.

Following last year’s release of the hit young adult romantic drama After We Collided, the next two highly anticipated movies from the best-selling book series, After, will be available to stream exclusively to Prime members in the UK and France.

Starring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, the original film followed Tessa (Langford), a college freshman, and mysterious student Hardin (Tiffin). After We Fell finds Tessa starting an exciting new chapter of her life but as she prepares to move to Seattle for her dream job, Hardin’s jealousy and unpredictable behaviour reach a fever pitch and threaten to end their intense relationship. Their situation grows more complicated when Tessa’s father returns and shocking revelations about Hardin’s family come to light. Ultimately, Tessa and Hardin must decide if their love is worth fighting for or if it’s time to go their separate ways.

The ensemble cast includes Louise Lombard, Rob Estes, Arielle Kebbel, Chance Perdomo, Frances Turner, Kiana Madeira, Carter Jenkins, Mira Sorvino, Stephen Moyer, Angela Sari, Atanas Srebrev and Anton Kottas. Both movies are directed by Castille Landon and produced by Jennifer Gibgot (17 Again, Step Up), Brian Pitt, Wattpad’s Aron Levitz, Voltage Pictures’ Nicolas Chartier and Jonathan Deckter, CalMaple’s Mark Canton (Den of Thieves, 300) and Courtney Solomon (Cake, An American Haunting). Executive Producers are Andrew Panay and Eric Lehrman.

“After the hugely successful launch last year of After We Collided on Prime Video, we are thrilled to announce that we will make the two next chapters of the After franchise available exclusively to Prime members”, said Chris Bird, Head of Content for Europe at Prime Video. “We’re delighted to offer the first release of both these highly anticipated movies in the UK and France and know our Prime members are eagerly awaiting the next round of Tessa and Hardin’s love story.”
