It’s now only a matter of weeks until a new Stephen King series arrives on our screens, with Apple TV+ confirming that Lisey’s Story will premiere this June.
Based on King’s bestselling novel, and adapted by the author himself, the thriller follows Lisey Landon (Academy Award winner Julianne Moore) two years after the death of her husband, famous novelist Scott Landon (Academy Award nominee Clive Owen). A series of unsettling events causes Lisey to face memories of her marriage to Scott that she has deliberately blocked out of her mind.
Directed by Pablo Larraín, and produced by JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros Television, the series is exec-produced by King, Moore and Larraín, alongside Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Juan de Dios Larraín. Every episode of the series was personally written by King.
Joan Allen, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Dane DeHaan star alongside Moore and Owen. You can see them in action on 4th June when the show debuts on Apple TV+. Until then, here are new images of the cast:
