Money Heist will return for Part 4 next year, Netflix has announced.

The Spanish thriller became a veritable global sensation over its first two seasons, growing to be one of Netflix’s most-watched non-English-language series on the service. Known as La Casa de Papel in its home country, the series follows the plan of a mysterious man, known as The Professor (Álvaro Morte), to carry out the biggest money heist in history. Not by stealing money, but by making it. The mission was simple: break into the Royal Mint of Spain and print 2.4 billion euros, as eight thieves took 67 hostages to ensure 11 days of privacy and enough time to make their fortune.

Originally airing on Antena 3, before Netflix snapped up the international rights, the streaming giant ordered a third part as a Netflix exclusive and signed an overall deal with Alex Pina, the show’s creator. Season 3 premiered in the summer and, just as it starts to feel like a long time ago, Netflix has confirmed that a fourth part is coming – and sooner than you might expect.

Money Heist 4 will premiere on 3rd April 2020. Here’s the video announcing the release date:
