“You told me you were a 911 operator.” “I lied.” That’s the sound of Netflix’s new series Bonding delving into the world of bondage.
Chains, whips and hilarious quips, oh my? For grad student/dominatrix Tiff (Zoe Levin) and her cash-strapped gay best friend Pete (Brendan Scannell), S&M is a business, not a pleasure. Well, maybe there’s a little pleasure. Their professional relationship redefines their friendship, but more importantly helps them find themselves, and Netflix’s dark comedy is there every step of the way.
The series is based on the life experiences of Rightor Doyle (Barry, You’re the Worst, Nerve), who serves as writer, director, showrunner, and executive producer. Levin and Scannell are joined by Micah Stock (Escape at Dannemora), D’Arcy Carden (The Good Place), Eric Berryman (Empathy, Inc.) and Theo Stockman (High Maintenance).
It premieres on Netflix on 24th April. Here’s the video:

Rightor Doyle is Bonding with old BFFs for a new Netflix series.
The comedy drama will centres on the relationship between former high-school friends, Pete, a recently out gay man, and Tiff, a grad student and secretly one of New York City’s top dominatrixes, who reconnect in an unexpected way years later.
The dark comedy is loosely based on the life experiences of Rightor Doyle (Barry, You’re the Worst, Nerve), who serves as writer, director, showrunner, and executive producer. Zoe Levin (Palo Alto, The Way Way Back) stars as Tiff, alongside Brendan Scannell (Heathers) as Pete. They are joined by Micah Stock (Escape at Dannemora) as Doug, D’Arcy Carden (The Good Place) as Daphne, Eric Berryman (Empathy, Inc.) as Andy, and Theo Stockman (High Maintenance) as Josh.
Bonding is produced by Anonymous Content & Blackpills, with Executive Producers including Dara Gordon, Jacob Perlin, Nina Soriano, Tom Schembri and David Sigurani.
Netflix has ordered a seven-episode first season.
